Yes To Temporary Disengagement & De-Escalation, But Permanent De-Induction Ruled Out

Analysis of satellite imagery around the Indian Union Territory of Ladakh reveals that while the disengagement and de-escalation by the opposing military ground forces of China and India remains a possibility in future, de-induction of such forces will remain impossible, thanks to the PLA Ground Forces’ (PLAGF) unabated construction of permanent habitats and related ammunition storage facilities in areas close to southern, central/eastern and northern Ladakh.

To the south (see above slides), the PLAGF has erected permanent habitats and related ammunition storage facilities at Zhaxigangxiang (32.526563 N, 79.633600 E).

In the central/eastern areas (see above slides), permanent habitats and related ammunition storage facilities now exist at Rutog (33.396564 N, 79.786035), with a new heliport now coming up at 33.654 N, 80.449 E. In addition, a PLAGF synthetic combined-arms brigade is now located at Khurnak (33 45 25 N, 78 59 50 E).

To the north, in an area spread over 250 hectares and located 65km to the east of Burtse/Daulat Beg Oldie (35.275994 N, 78.760580 E), permanent habitats and related ammunition storage facilities are being at a hectic pace, along with a PLAGF heliport at Tianwendian (35.246275 N, 79.542584 E).

There at least 11 portals or shafts bored into the rockface on both banks of the river-valley. The images show massive construction activity over the last few months and are a likely attempt to protect heavy weaponry and soldiers from Indian air-strikes and extended-range artillery. By establishing underground facilities and developing subterranean infrastructure in such proximity to the border, PLAGF strategists seem to be aiming to counter-balance the current advantage held by the Indian Air Force in Aksai Chin. In the years since the Galwan clash of June 2020, the Indian Army has effectively scaled up its offensive fire vectors, especially long-range tube and rocket artillery. The PLAGF decision to carve into hillsides is directly linked to greater Indian offensive capability. The massive construction activity, including hardened shelters, bunkers, tunnels, and the widening of roads is being done to mitigate this clear and present danger which the Indian Army & Indian Air Force have imposed on the PLAGF deployment doctrine in Tibet. It is clear that China is hardening its military presence in Ladakh against possible artillery and air-strikes in the event of a full-scale military escalation. We can see what are likely reinforced command positions and underground equipment storage facilities. Such facilities greatly enhance the PLAGF’s ability to continue operations and limit attrition if an armed conflict were to break out in Ladakh. Multiple berms and revetments of the site in December 2021 indicate that the location had been identified as a key staging point during the height of the India-China faceoff in Ladakh when PLAGF forces had made multiple incursions into the Indian territory along the LAC. This same area has now been completely transformed with massive, ongoing construction activity. The new images, from August 18, indicate the presence of four reinforced personnel bunkers constructed along the valley face, along with three tunnel areas, with two and five portals or tunnels at each site, carved onto the hillside. Heavy earth-moving machinery can be seen in multiple locations. A primary road, which cuts across the valley, has been substantially widened. The images also show that the earth has been raised around the personnel bunkers to provide additional protection from direct attacks. Entry and exit areas have a distinctive fork design meant to dissipate the impact of pressure from bombardment and feature raised earth berms.

Hi prasun
russia seems to be upping the ante by jamming and shooting down drones quite successfully. why cant the west take out the kruska jamming complex by a simple anti radiation missile? is that so hard ?
do we have an equal of the kruska ? or its better to buy one from them to jam GPS , beidu etc

would it not be a good idea to deploy a tethered drone on a tank that would cost may be a lac to provide instant surveillance to a very far distance in a passive mode. ?

it cud have a laser ranger and targeting optics to for fire and forget or give firing solutions to the tank?

Sorry to ask u same questions
The new Tejas pic appears with drdo made high bang jammer, many reports suggest that it's gaN based, how good is that , good enough to take care Chinese ground based fire control radar and Chinese radar guided missile
2)Even the HAL test pilot now confirms 100 more MK1A. let's just assume that it's true, I just want to understand 150+ such aircraft is enough to defend against pak jf 17 and Chinese J10C &D
In terms of technology like radar ,ew suite, missiles, menoverablity where does Tejas MK1A stands??
Asking this question again because internet fan boys don't talk about reality, requesting u to provide provide broader picture

HI prasun

dont u think that its a hare brain decision to get 114 mrfa for 20 bill when we are better off investing that money ourselves increasing funds for research ,

why not another 100 lca s? and another green field plant for the future LCA`s etc

At the rate of production of 16 LCA per year? ie if they deliver , the enemies will be laughing , we need at least 30 per year to be ok?

reports suggest that the lca spj jammer pod is good, it seems to be flying on lca. . would u rate it as good as the el-8222? does it have an aesa jammer as published? is it the same jammer to go on board the su 30 mki?

do you think we must get the Israeli scorpius aesa jammer to defend against awacs , fighter radars and other threats like drones?

where is all that 20 bill money going to come from?

To RAD: And how will any ARM be able to home in to the RF jammer when the launch aircraft is forced to adopt low-level flight profile? That’s because any Ukrainian aircraft flying about 1,000 feet AGL has been & will be shot down by either Russian Su-35s or S-400s.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pF60NxipEpE

No tethered system can operate at altitudes along the LAC because of persistent strong wind-gusts. China too tried it & failed.

To RAD & SANTOSH: Regarding jamming pods, it seems many are mixing up ASPJ pods with escort jammer pods. ASPJ pods now come in wideband jamming versions, like this:

https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-sUbTucVpXz4/WGlE2d9mRhI/AAAAAAAAMJ8/2lhEtjvNpvcnvW9xAoHvigXk-tggsVzJACLcB/s1600/ELL-8222%2BASPJ-1.jpg

Such wideband jammers (covering mid-band & high-band) are reqd for 360 degrees for defence against BVRAAMs & beam-riding/fire-n-forget SHORADS, like the ELT-568 wideband jammers of the MiG-29UPG’s D-29 EW suite & the proposed upgrade of the EL/L-8222 ASPJ. The ELTA EL/L-8222SB pod is the first one to use active phased-array transmit modules.

On the other hand, ESCORT JAMMERs are tasked with low-band jamming of D/E bandwidths (the old L-band):

To LITTLEMASTER & SANTOSH: Both of you are referring to this video:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kny6p5lDFFk

Now let’s analyse or ‘unpack’ the video: 1) The programme anchor himself ensured plausible deniability by declaring that the sourc-report is from ANI & not from India’s MoD or the IAF HQ. That by itself rules out the prospect of any GoI institution (IAF or MoD) FORMALLY asking for any additional 100 Tejas Mk.1As. Second, the two ex-IAF & ex-IN test-pilots themselves declared that they will be giving only ‘nuanced’ answers, i.e. not confirming anything that has financial implications. On top of that, the ex-IAF test-pilot who is now with HAL hinted that most likely the existing 40 Tejas Mk.1s will in future be upgraded to Tejas Mk.1A standard, which appears much more plausible. Third, no one in India is financially capable of establishing brand-new final-assembly lines for each type of new-gen MRCA. HAL itself set up only 1 brand-new final-assembly line in Bengaluru for Tejas Mk.1 for rolling out only 8 aircraft per annum, whereas the 2nd & 3rd final-assembly lines for Tejas Mk.1/Mk.1A in Bengaluru & Nashik are older ones used for assembling the Hawk Mk.132 & Su-30MKIs. All 3 final-assembly lines will be upgraded to final-assemble the Tejas Mk.2s at a rate of 24 per annum by the year 2030. Consequently, the procurement of another 100 Tejas Mk.1s beyond the 83 already contracted for appears untenable & illogical, since this will postpone the rollout of SP-standard Tejas-AF Mk.2s to the late 2030s, which by itself will clash with the scheduled production of AMCA MK.1s & TEDBFs at new greenfield final-assembly lines.

So, what I have explained above amounts to 2 + 2 equals 4. On the other hand, those who are claiming that another Tejas Mk.1As will be ordered by the IAF are stating that 2 + 2 equals either 3 or 5. If anyone wants to outsource their intellect from the latter, then there’s no use arguing as it will only amount to insulting one’s own intelligence. In the end, only common-sense based on the physical sciences & maths wins the day.

I think IAF/IA cannot go for a 1 size fits all approach & will need diff types based on load carrying capacity. Heavier ones primarily to quickly move tanks helis quickly to critical areas during war time which should be catered by 14 C 17's-India can ask US to spare 3 from its reserves, IL76MD90A's(IAF should barter all 23 Il76/78 for 14/15 MD90A's as there are no C17's being produced & others having them will be reluctant to give them away) @25 odd A400M's for medium lift & the rest should be a mix of C295(75-80) & @50 C390's for a total of @200 transport aircrafts

Prasun Da, regarding Sri Rahul Gandhi's case, I think he is a Good Content Creator if this video is his brain child:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zhmiy_-Pe24

And it is a fact that in certain developed societies, people take Voluntary Retirement from Politics to be engaged in creative things. It is now high time for Mr. Gandhi to take final retirement from Politics, especially after this:

https://www.cnbctv18.com/politics/rahul-gandhi-adani-group-investigation-jpc-probe-g20-summit-17688731.htm

asking for JPC Probe, while SEBI examined the alleged funds and there are options to fresh probes based on new allegations. The hearing in Hon'ble SCI is rescheduled.

https://www.business-standard.com/companies/news/market-regulator-sebi-examined-funds-named-by-occrp-in-adani-group-probe-123083100678_1.html

I can not see any fault of Mr. Gandhi, as a human being he has both weakness and advantage on certain things as well as Interest and Dis Interest on subjects, but I doubt very much the LEVEL OF IQ of the voters who see him as a "Politician".

what do u make of this 20 bil$ mrca purchase , looks hare brained . Id rather spend it making another production line for the lCA series, get in more fighters faster and use the money on desi research and collaborative effort. some time or the other we have to break free..... or still better use the money for upgradation of the su-30mki into super ones. slowly the IAF is starting to trust the drdo although with some skepticism .

its going to take another decade for the mrfa fighters to come even if so after the lengthy process of flight testing each one and negotiating, then our pappu nincompoop will say scandal and the like... then order then the fighters.....

our desi abyas high speed target drone can be made into a perfect bait for chinese s-400 and other sams, all it needs is a little help from israel or US for incorp[orating cutting edge electronics to deceive radars and thaen take them out with rudra once the radars freq and position is known. any work being done on that front?

Just as the INC captained INDI Alliance proclaims their ideological resolve to annihilate Hinduism from the face of earth durbari scribes are penning pieces where Modi is supposedly relegating minorities to 2nd class citizens in India. Refer below.
The western establishment media have left their tabloid pages open to give space and validate these brown western assets in order to build the grounds to squeeze us in the future.

The more I think of it the more distraught I get. The whole country was left to the dogs for the 2004-2014 time period. A goldmine of opportunities lost. Together with global economic tailwinds we could have industrialised, enjoyed near double digit fast growth and built up our defences along the Chicom front. Instead the whole country was taken down the rabbithole of subsidies and massive debts were handed out to cronies through the PSUs. Mere lipservices were paid by puppet PM to building infra along LAC, getting manufacturing to India and what not. Now all of these have become so much more tough to do.

A serious country would have jailed everyone responsible for this instead we have a pliant durbari media that whitewashes all of these. Not even a question asked. I hope NM takes note, drops the gandhigiri and goes after the durbari media with the zeal of an Indira. This will get CIA and US State Dept. assets like VDem to further mark India down in the 'democracy index' but so be it. No country can wish to be sovereign with such compromised assets.

To RAGHU: Bharat Forge/Kalyani Group, being an industrial entity whose speciality is metallurgical end-products, is perfectly capable of developing & producing marine industrial gas-turbines transmission shafts, marine propellers, as well as field & naval artillery. In addition, it is also capable of producing turbojets & turbofans that require hgh-end metallurgical expertise & engineering.

Meanwhile, it seems the PLAN did suffer a catastrophic undersea disaster involving one of its Type 09-III SSNs on August 20, whose details are provided here:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CNTP8Xe-tWQ&t=5s

By later today, expect both WION & FIRSTPOST to recycle this information & shamelessly broadcast it as their original news-reports!

To AMIT BISWAS: Resorting to airborne jamming of AEW & CS systems is a no-brainer due to the long standoff distances involved, which in turn is affecred by the Earth’s curvature. Therefore, the only 2 other options are: targetting the ‘kill-chain’ involving the data-linking of AEW & CS platforms with airborne MRCAs; & developing long-range ARMs like Northrop Grumman’s Advanced Anti-Radiation Guided Missile Extended Range (AARGM-ER) that comes equipped with a networked multi-mode guidance system. That’s what the DRDO is trying with the Rudram-3 as well. But more about all this in the next thread.

To SANTOSH: LoLz! For the sake of gender-equality you should have added “Jai Sita Devi’ along with ‘Jai Shri Ram’! Coming now to more serious matters, no airborne AESA-MMR can provide target illumination for BVRAAMs & LRAAMs like 145km-range PL-15 or 180km-range AIM-120D3. Instead, the solution lies in: targetting the ‘kill-chain’ involving the data-linking of AEW & CS platforms with airborne MRCAs; and achieving data-linking of BVRAAMs/LRAAMs with AEW & CS platforms. That’s why the USAF & PLAAF have both invested in SIGINT/ELINT platforms & dedicated airborne jamming aircraft. But more about all this in the next thread.

Hi

The RnD knowledge and finance required for development and production of high quality metal alloys and composites for marine and aero engines is available only with select vendors in the world. Also the gestation period is high.

To what extent will Bharat Forge be able to match them in these fields, especially in cutting edge alloys, ceramic composites and aerodynamics to develop and produce engines for naval and aero use?

Apropos your response to Santosh above, the 'Shri' in 'Jai Shri Ram' chants denotes Mata Sita Herself. I was also under this misperception when our Bengali Didi and the ecosystem peddled props that JSR chants were disregarding of Sita and hence misogynistic.

Anyhow, in addition to my above questions, I would really appreciate your views on the India-Middle East-Europe Corridor. Is the West so desperate to checkmate China that they have decided on forging a resilient manufacturing supply chain with India taking the biggest share of the manufacturing pie?

Hi

Even assuming that Bharat Forge has industrial capabilities, is it realistic to expect them to have the R n D capabilities to master the advanced high temperature alloys and ceramic composites required for marine and aero gas turbine engines?  Production of these too would not be easy. Very few companies have mastered these technologies. The gestation period is also high.

you have said in that , an awacs can guide an AAM or even other 3rd party platforms can do it , like networked other fighters as well. ? you said here it is not possible

To RAD: Existing BVRAAMs possessing only a single X-band data-link can be provided mid-course updates only by the launching MRCA’s X-band MMR (mechanical, PESA €& AESA-based). That’s because such cues are co-related between the launching MRCA’s RLG-INS & the BVRAAM’s on-board fibre-optic gyroscope for true positioning purposes. However, if the BVRAAM were to have 2 data-links, i.e. 1 X-band & another L-/S-band), then an AEW & CS’ on-board radar will be able to provide mid-course navigational updates. That’s what has been achieved with the AIM-120D3 BVRAAM & this can also be achieved with LRAAMs like AIM-260 JATM, Vympel R-37M & Novator KS-172.

As for SAR & SLAR definitions, do read these:

To JUST_CURIOUS: No, thy will be the normal Su-30MKIs assembled from knocked-dwn condition kits supplied by Russia & HAL’s vendors.

To SATYA: LoLz! There re countermeasures available for every weapon system. No weapon system is indestructible.

To DHANU: LoLz! All that th IAF’s CAS had stated was that the IAF IS LOOKING AT MOVING THE CASE FOR… . No AoN accorded by th MoD’s DAC so far, no contract negotiated & inked with HAL. No one knows how many more single-seaters & tandem-seaters re to be ordered. It is just like the IA’s Project Zorawar, which has run into severe difficulties & opposition at IA HQ because of: the sheer brain-dead nature of the project; and far better alternatives that now exist, like these:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kNGLC1SbVyQ

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lSEfCx1y3Ws

Mounting SANT ATGMs on UGVs or even on NAMSIS-type vehicles will be a far better option. After all, the PLAGF has till to date not deployed any of its ZTQ-105 light tanks anywhere close to Ladakh or Arunachal Pradesh, preferring instead to deploy far heavier ZTZ-99A MBTs.

To CONCERNEDINDIAN: 1) Yes. 2) Yes. 3) STARLINK is a global network. India on the other hand requires only a limited regional network—far smaller in size & effort.

Prasun K. Sengupta said...

To AMIT BISWAS: That is the EC-37B EW platform, to be used to disrupt enemy command and control communications and suppress air-defence networks of enemy air & naval forces. It will also be used to attack enemy grund-based & airborne early warning & acquisition radar threats and perform counter-information operations. The EC-37B will have the ability to operate at high altitudes with increased speeds and execute missions at long ranges. It will also be able to perform missions in anti-access, area-denial, and irregular warfare conditions. The Small Adaptive Bank of Electronic Resources (SABER) technology switches the earlier hardware-based EW system into a software-based electromagnetic spectrum warfare capability for the EC-37B Compass Call. It comprises a number of software-defined radios. In other words, the EC-37B will be used against both hostile air, ground & naval forces for thoroughly disrupting the adversary’s kill-chain & thus represents the pinnacle of electronic attack techniques meant for supporting multi-aircraft cooperative multi-target attacks in which even long-range ARMs can be employed as anti-ship strike missiles.

The airframe architecture of the EC-37B is that same as that of the IAI-developed Eitan AEW & CS, but the former uses only transmit-modules for its AESA arrays, while the latter uses transmit/receive modules.

To SUMANTA NAG & RAD: I was shocked to realise that even a moron/imbecile can become the PM of a developed country like Canada! Canadian PM Justin Trudeau yesterday told Parliament that Canadian security agencies were investigating “credible allegations of a potential link between agents of the government of India and the killing of a Canadian citizen.” Credible allegations, mind you, not credible evidence. In other words, the Canadian PM initiated actions based on a hunch or surmises or suppositions, since over the past 90 days neither the Royal Canadian Mouted Police (RCMP) nor the Canadian Securty & Intelligence Service (CSIS) has succeeded in nabbing any of the assassins of a slain Canadian Sikh separatist leader.

Secondly, Punjab cadre IPS officer Pavan Kumar Rai who has been expelled from Canada, is a declared agent, i.e. between friendly countries, overseas intelligence stations chiefs always declare their credentials to the host country’s intelligence service. Thus, the R & AW station chief was wel-known to the CSIS & therefore the former was never able to engage in any form of covert activity/espionage operation. Likewise, the CSIS station chief in Delhi, Olivier Sylvester, had declared his credentials to R & AW upon his arrival in India. The fact that both Rai & Sylvester have each been given 5 days to leave the country means that neither country wants to escalate the matter any further. Matters could have been far wrse had each of them been given only 48 hours to leave, as has been in previous cases between India & Pakistan.

1. by looks of it 100 Tejas mk1a will be ordered afterall, if so then the total of Tejas mk1a will be 223 eventually when tejas mk1 is upgraded to 1a standard

2. also IAF unique requirement means it needs light, medium and heavy aircraft

3. in such a scenario i think IAF should skip Tejas mk2 and directly go for AMCA mk1/2

4. what i suggest is this

a. to meet light aircraft need after building 223 Tejas mk1A that are to be 4.5++ gen aircraft after which build total 100 Tejas mk1B that will be actually 5- gen aircraft with relevant upgrades

b. skip Tejas mk2 aircraft induction and go straight to building 300 AMCA Mk 1/2 that will augment 150 Rafale, if needed build 100 TEDBF minus tailhook and relevant upgrades for IAF need to meet medium aircraft need

c. develop Tejas mk2 only for export market

d. when Su 30 mki retired by 2050 to meet heavy aircraft need develop and build 300 6 gen aircraft based on Northrop YF 23 that was way more advanced than F22 Raptor even then but wasnt selected just bcoz it was more expensive, by 2050 i believe costs can be brought down (drdo, hal need to talk with northrop for that)

Secondly, suppose it's proved that Indian agents killed the terrorist at Canada. Then what India should do ? Personal relationship can overcome many obstacles. Rohit Gill bhai whilst I agree with a lot of things you say one thing you forget- India has majority Hindus but not a Hindu state. India has different faiths and INDIA belongs to all. Your shallow mindedness is feeding radicals the food they need making it a Hindu VS whoever. There are as many devoted, patriotic Christians, Muslims, Sikhs and other faiths in India so by trying to carve out only India and not part of Pakistan that also harbours Sikh holy sites, these Pakistani handled pseudo Sikhs are also attacking every Indian not just Hindus. If India played her cards right, she would have pointed out that the same Canada that extols "freedom of speech" by turning a blind eye to terror and violent activities by Khalistanis on its soil is calling Hizbollah a terror group, Taliban a terror group, Al Qaeda a terror group who basically are doing exactly the same. Canada also calls Russia a terror state same as Ukraine does. So if one plans and carries out terror activities destroying another country's sovereignty, then that victim country has every right to strike back at the heart of the terror regardless of where it is located. Israel does that. So if India did kill this mongrel India should put it out in the open saying no friendship with any any nation if they harbour terrorists and fail to act because that is same as being a terrorist state itself. In fact India should sanction Trudeau, Jagmeet Jungia ( as in undies) Singh and other Canadian entities and term them as proscribed individuals.

Why did DRDO market these if they weren't confident of its performance ?

What kind of stupid question is this? You say that Azerbaijan destroyed this radar. So what does this have to do with DRDO?

Do you know of any sensor / weapon system in the world that continues to function after it is destroyed by enemy action? Are you aware that vast arrays of NATO weapons were destroyed in Ukraine by the Russian Army/Air Force?

Hi Prasun

According to IA's RFP for Zorawar Lt, COMBAT WEIGHT not to exceed 25+10% Tons i.e. 27.5 tonnes. It wants Active Protection and Passive Protection (ECM, Laser, MAWS); Frontal arc protection of 600mm RHAe & all round STANAG 3; SDR, Multi format communication; INS+GPS+BMS; P/W ratio > 30HP/tonne; operational range of 300Km in cross country and 450 km on road.

1. What is supoosed to be empty weight of a LT??.
2. Not mentioned are the quantum of fuel & ammunition. How is it supposed to fit all this within Zorawar's combat weight??? It is perplexing, perturbing & outrageous!!! It would be frightening if L&T gets bogged down into a multi-decade LT program!!!

Thanks

I think India should do the same and perfect its thermonuclear weapons.

Prasun bhai, hope you are doing fine. It's been a busy week with many developments hoping to know what's your take on them

1) Did Five eyes gave the so-called intelligence input that led Canada to come to the conclusion that it was India behind the killing of that terrorist?

2) According to a news report published in the Hindustan Times, CIA Director was told by Indian intelligence head that US was not taking action against SFJ terrorist Pannun because India believes that he is a CIA agent. Could this be true?

3) US has imposed sanctions on Awami League leaders in Bangladesh. Is US backing Islamists like BNP? What are the consequences for India?

4) Saudi Arabia has again given hostile statement regarding Kashmir in OIC meeting. What do they want to achieve by doing this?

I'm not a conspiracy theorist but all these developments are pushing me to believe that US wants a regime change in India. They want a collision of left wing parties subversive to them to replace Modi. We have the clown prince of Congress frequently traveling to EU countries to meet his handers and meeting people who are hostile to India. Now we have a chindi chor like Trudeau openly waging diplomatic war against India. Could this all happen without the Go ahead from Washington?

Prasun Da, as per the reaction from Mr. Anthony Blinken below:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SAfv5jPD6sg

It seems that the USA while stops condemning India also does not want things to be escalated much between India and Canada so that the USA's plan for allowing their 5 eye Intelligence Sharing platforms be coordinated with Japan, South Korea and India.

What I feel that, it is a fact that for Murky Past of Nijjar and questionable process in which he was allowed by the Liberal-NDP regime to be the Canadian Citizen from 2015, despite his visa application and claim to be citizen of Canada got cancelled repeatedly prior that, this cretin was under surveillance of Indian Intelligence in Canada, and in turn that activity was snooped upon by the Candian Intelligence using 5 eye infrastructure at the instruction of NDP-Liberal Government, and that too under the binding clause of 5 eyes. That being the reason, whenever the other Anglospreric countries met for decision to make India as the beneficiary of that system, the Trudeau administration started to make noise against it. Finally, Nijjar I think got killed or eliminated in similar fashion like his fellow Khalistani Terrorist Sukhdool Singh in the inter gang rivalry of Narco-Terrorist Mafia , that runs deep and spread tentacles inside the Canadian Law Making agencies, so, it became impossible to either to apprehend or trace the Car of the assailants even after the Murder. Jr. Truadue jumped in the conclusion so quickly misjudging the findings of the 5 eyes intelligence and totally unacceptable diplomatic fashion, that things were escalated much beyond his Comtrol now, and he is trying to back track by seeking involvement of Indian Intelligence to join probe approaching through the USA. Already India has started chocking Canada from lucrative earning generated by the Indian Students as envisaged in this:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DUHIluZylxc

the USA simply snubbed Canada by refusing to club India with Russia and China, as what Liberal-NDP Government tried to propagate:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mR_TR8fjcK4

Also it is quite possible, that India came to know about snooping on its Intelligence Authorities from the USA itself prior to G20 and Mr. Biden requesting Sri Modi for amicable settlement; however it might be the reason Junior Trudeau got snubbed by India during G20. After that everything went south ward due to the action taken by Trudeau Administration, it seems that it is impossible for Canada to complete the so called Investigation Process with help of Indian Intelligence, since things escalated beyond it, only way forward is Trudeau to backtrack for reconciliation, which will also dent the image of him as the Prime Minister as well as reputation of Canada.

I might be wrong. Please share your views and thanks in advance Dada.

To Prasun,
The events related to Nijjar have proven without any doubt that Khalistan is a US funded project now to act as a leverage when things need to be shaken up for India such as during the Farmer's protests.
I hope the Chicoms are not as foolish and mend their shortsightedness wrt us. We are merely rivals to China, but america is our civilizational enemy.

Thanks,
Ashish

Hello Prasun

3. IA is now well poised to acquire 100 more K9 tracked SPHs and ~300 wheeled MGS. I understand their mechanical structure. But, how does one benefit over other? How do these two vary in operational deployment, say in a division of brigade? Are they deployed side-by-side, like a composite regiment? Where does one deploy one of these to compensate for the lack of other?
4. If cost not considered at all, can an army replace all its towed artillery systems with only mobile artillery systems - tracked or wheeled?

Thanks
Soumya

Prasunda,
You have correctly mentioned about the bad quality welding on shipside plates of Nilgiri class frigates being made by GRSE. It's not actually due to bad quality welding but not following a proper process. This defect is called STARVED HORSE EFFECT in marine lingo.
Not going deep, it's a process failure. When frames are welded with shipside plates, that time some heat is transferred to plates. Now when plates cool-down it's slightly get deformed. A good process takes control of heat dissipation quickly too prevent overheating of the plates. But in this case that process is not followed, results in buckling. Old ships are slightly buckled like this. Kindly check Royal Navy's Type 42 destroyer's shipside plates clearly. You will find same buckling. However, it's a thing of past. GRSE is not aware of this process it seems.
Best regards.

Stating that Khalistan is an evil US based project and that america is our civilizational enemy surely auto translates to a desire to migrate to the USA. If you werent such a based psychoanalyst I would have dismissed you as a clown.

Is the rightmost model that of the definitive A5 version ? If so, does this not appear to have a single warhead ? Does this mean there is no MIRVed A5 version, and what was tested on Dec. 15, 2022 had a single maneuverable warhead ?
