Aero India 2019 Highlights-1

Highlights of February 22
Highlights of February 21
I wonder who was the 'Genius' at HAL that conceived of the idea of showcasing a shipborne naval multi-role variant of the Dhruv ALH (above) with an executive seating layout!
Highlights of February 20
Looks like ADA has taken all my earlier recommendations quite seriously, if the maiden display of the Tejas AF Mk.2 MWF is to be believed!
The 23mm GSH cannon will be located on the red-coloured section between the canard and wing-rrot on the starboard side. Below is the Jaguar MAX being developed by HAL.
HAL is now also into turbofan-powered UAS platforms that can be remote-controlled by MRCAs!
ISRO this time has a sprawling pavilion, but its exhibits are extremely poor, scarce and there is no one to man this pavilion!
Miscellaneous Exhibits
The BrahMos-2 missile will have an X-band imaging monopulse seeker (below) developed and built by DATA PATTERNS, while a similar-looking Ku-band seeker developed by ECIL will go on-board the Nirbhay LACM.

hi prasun

I dont understand the many casualties we are suffering in the encounters in kashmir . 5 personnel dead for 2 terrs??. why so ? as we have the advantage of nos and time.
After these dick heads have been located could nt we be more cautious rather than rushing in and getting shot . Or use grenade launchers and carl gustavs to blow them up?

does the indian gov compensate these buggers for the houses that get blown up in the fight against terrrs?

Is the brahmos 2, a version of the zircon that seems to have completed flight trails? and putin hinting that it is in service??

i dont understand how a radar can be mounted on the zircon due to the unique front end of the missile >?
Also due to aero dynamic heating at mach 5+ there should be plasma formation around the front end .now how do radar wave es penetrate this.

the same will be applicable to the so called anti ship ballistic missiles that the chinks have got? how does the radar search and lock on?

why is US not confirming the f-16 got downed ? due to snub or some thing else? after all they have the right to walk in to the PAF bases, based on the agreement .
has pak got more amraams than the 500 contracted for?

does the US hold some sort of key or bug that can make the pak f-16 un operable in dire needs .?

hi prasun
given the dog fight scenario that took place between the f-16 and the bison . would it not be a better idea to load the mig-21 with 3 r-73 and a 8222 jammer pod rather than aa-12 as they can the jam f-16 radar and deflect the amraam missiles while closing into a dog fight range which the pak f-16 will be shit scared of given the recent shoot down . More over the mig-21 will be lightly loaded without the heavy aa-12.?

Hi Prasun - If this new report is true, then the Sukhoi 30MKI was shot at, but it managed to evade the missile. In this case what do rules of engagement say? Was the Sukhoi 30MKI allowed and also capable of engaging with the F-16 in BVR mode (if not cross the LOC)?
