To SANTOSH KUMAR SHARMA: The differences are ALL mentioned/highlighted here:

https://trishul-trident.blogspot.com/2019/04/from-lca-mk1-to-mwf-af-mk2-mapping.html

To JUST_CURIOUS: The answer is simple: why does the Govt of India not prepare its own exhaustive White Paper on J & K that lists out all the acts of subversion/proxy war carried out by Pakistan since October 1947? Why does the Govt of India not prepare & publish a detailed inventory of all types of weapons & their sources or manufacturing origin smuggled into J & K from PoK since 1989? Why does the Govt of India not publish the identities of the several thousand foreign Jihadis who have been killed within J & K since 1989? Why does the Govt of India not present the captured Pakistani Jihadis for interviews by the international media so that the truth can emerge from the horse's mouth? If Afghanistan can do so, why can't India? Publishing of such data will once & for all nail Pakistan for good. Therefore, it is the Govt of India that has to date not shown initiative & creativity when it comes to projecting India's point-of-view towards the rest of the world.

To UNKNOWN: Will you order your reqd daily consignments of perishable eatables before they arrive at their retail outlets? Will you pre-order them before even the harvesting season begins? Similarly, how can orders be placed for an aircraft that does not exist as yet? Unless the projected Tejas Mk.1A prototypes demonstrate that they have complied with the IAF's ASQRs, they will not be ordered.

Hi Prasun,

Previously in this thread you commented that defence budget adequate. However, this budget looks like mediocre one.

No major reforms, many announcements with little capital backing them up, etc.

Why cant this government fix the economy. Loosen it's stake in PSUs and dpsus, sell or close air India and BSNL, etc., or expand spending or at least given tax breaks or incentives to industries. India is rapidly de-industrializing and that too without RCEP, with RCEP Signed, we will go Pakistan way.

Economic times article which highlighted that TVs are not made in India any more as it's cheaper to import from Thailand really speaks what's wrong with our economy.

Low end to medium end technical and other manufacturing jobs are going to Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam. Hell even might come to Srilanka and Bangladesh, but this right wing socialist government is doing its best to kill our economy.

Regards,
Srinivasa Nanduri

hi ;prasun
the su-30mki pilot says the mirage 2000 is the toughest to beat , what make him say that , i thought the mig-29 was top gun with highest thrust to weight ratio and turn rates. ?
why has china introduced a ;long range solid fuel AAM rather than a ramjet as they were developing it for a long time . The solid fuel is AAM is going to go out of fuel after ahigh speed dash and coast along and then a secondary booster kicks in at homing stage. why solid fuel rocket?.
THe diameter of the AAM<looks too slender which may not be suitable for end game maneuvering , as todays fighters will be warned of a missile and evasive + jamming would take spoof it . does it have aesa seeker
